Will a Bluetooth headset work for VoIP applications on PC?
I’d like to know if it is possible to use a standard Bluetooth wireless headset on a Bluetooth enabled PC computer for Voice over IP applications (Voice Chat, Internet Phones, etc). And if so, what models can do this? Thanks!

VoIP Query: Where can I get a precice and concise “In a Nut Shell” summary of VoIp functionality?
I am a trained network engineer from being in the US Air Force. I am heavy on Cisco followed by Windows etc. . and multiple IT Certs. . I moved from the assignment right about when we started installing VoIP and Wireless gear but didn’t get to enjoy playing with them. I am going to do a thorough review of the VoIP technologies and try out either an inexperienced capacity or an internship to bolster that. If you are aware of any of the above feel free to make me part of your social network. . I need to make use of those skills on payroll be4 it’s too late to be any good. . Another hurdle is that when I was doing most of my certs, the technologies were more infancy stages: However of the:CCNP, CCDP, and CCSP that I hold, CCDP had the greatest high level assessment of voip and wireless

Once desktops are connected wirelessly, can I plug the voip router (linksys 54g/wph ports) into desktop via eithernet. Will this work? How do you wire ethernet jacks in a house?
I would like to convert all the phone jacks in my house into ethernet jacks since I use VoIP with wireless phones. I plan to do this by attaching ethernet wires to the existing phone wires and pulling them down to my unfinished basement. What wires should I use and how do I connect them together in my basement? Also, should I use Cat5 or Cat6, or both?

More on No Rules Telephony David Duffett at Astricon
Part II of David Duffett mentions attending AsterConference in Kuala Lumpur, another conference that www.didx.net sponsored. He’s investigating Asterisk and wireless. He does a great job involving the audience while speaking. GSM gateway box buys you SIP to GSM = $250 cost. Talks about FRING and he pronounced a word as SIphone, but I think he meant SiPPHONE such as at www.sipphone.com (Gizmo) and more. Anyone know? David, what did you mean?

Is there a way to link my laptops 10/100 network card with my wireless card?
I would like to know if there is a way to link my 10/100 network card with my wireless card on my lap top. Here is what I would like to do. . . . . . I have a VOIP telephone that for the most part just plugs into my router at home threw a 10/100 wired connection, so far when I go on vacation there was a 10/100 plug I could use for this but this time the hotel I am going to only has a wireless connection to the internet, so is there a way to plug my VOIP adaptor into my laptop so it can use the wireless card to connect it to the internet. Or is it possable to use a wireless router to connect to a wireless internet to supply the 10/100 connections to the VOIP adaptor? And if so how do I find out the Mac address for the routers wireless connection? It is not on the case!
